"I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings."
Terri offers a practical, theraputic approach to yoga, creating a supportive climate for students to develop their own unique yoga practice through deeper body/mind awareness.
A certified Kripalu teacher, Terri combines this tradition with energizing vinyasa sequences , gentle stretching, and calming restorative poses.
Terri's classes are inspired by her intensive training in dance, background in movement analysis and therapy, years of personal yoga exploration, and decades of teaching.
"My goal is to help others experience the pure joy, strength, and grace of movement and stillness."
Off the mat, Terri is Founder and Manager of Guilford Community Garden Hub, part time organic farmer and compost enthusiast.

"My first class with Terri was a "life changing experience." Terri has a quiet presence which guides us.....we trust her, and our reward is a healthier, stronger, safer self! Starting class 4 years ago ranks with my best decisions. I feel better and stronger than ever!" - Bonnie S.
" Once reticent issues arising from breast cancer, spinal surgery and shoulder injury left me with pain and limited mobility. I now have significantly more flexibility, strength, balance, and peace of mind after working with Terri. She transforms my unique physical challenges into a fluid, joyful celebration of movement." - A.N.
" I have attended yoga classes from NYC to Boston and Terri Cain stands out as the best instructor of them all. Why? She is always sensitive to my unique physical needs; she combines graceful movement, breathing and counter stretches with each challenging pose; and she carefully choreographs each class to attain overall goals for health and well-being." -Robyn H.
"I look forward to every class with Terri. She demonstrates full knowledge of safe and challenging moves and positions. It is like fun therapy, because I always feel better afterwards. She brings a calm thoughtful personality to the whole experience.
I am so grateful." - Susan W.
